Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years of relevant job-related experience; OR Associate's degree and at least one year of relevant job-related experience; OR equivalent number of hours of course work towards a degree and at least one year of relevant job-related experience; (Relevant job-related experience should be in a conventional office setting following established work processes and guidelines. Examples of office duties considered job-related experience include producing financial and other reports, data entry, generating correspondence memos and letters, developing, and maintaining a filing system, working on a helpline, and bookkeeping and accounting duties.)

Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Grants Specialist IV is a professional administrator with expertise in payment processes, data tracking, and project management. The Grants Specialist IV demonstrates exceptional customer service, accountability, adaptability, dependability, initiative, and exemplary personal conduct and professional relationships, all which are core values of the Division and the Department of State. Regularly reports on activity and projects, reviews procedures, shares information, and suggests solutions to team and DAC challenges. Works closely with DAC strategic plan and executes assigned areas of the plan.
- Coordinates with DOS internal financial management team and Financial Administrator in processing contracts to FACTS. Coordinates with DOS internal financial management team and Financial Administrator in processing grant payments approved by grant managers in the DOS grants system. Consults with grant program managers, grant program supervisor, and Financial Administrator to resolve payment problems. Runs payment and compliance reports, consults with grant program supervisor and Financial Administrator on report accuracy and financial reporting systems prior to withholding payments. Runs other reports as requested. Confirms that award amounts are entered accurately; payments are processed in a timely manner; payments do not exceed award amount; and that all payments are released to grantees. Conducts annual desk audits of selected grantee organizations.
- Performs complex database work, manipulation, and reporting of financial information. Provides ongoing review of database for all grant programs. Attends, assists with and provides technical support for meetings.
- Provides assistance for Florida Art in State Buidings program.
- Performs other work-related duties as required.
