Duties and Responsibilities
This position reports directly the Chief in Bureau of Issuance Oversight and will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects within the Bureau; Serve as a point of contact for developing detailed project plans, including timelines, and resource allocation; Providing regular project updates to team members, and senior management; allocating resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials; overseeing project execution to ensure it aligns with daily duties. This position is also responsible for developing monitoring tools and issuing reports, as needed, and acting as a liaison between the bureau, other Motorist Services bureaus, and the Division of Administrative Services.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of various data collection methods.
- Knowledge of Florida statutes and FLHSMV rules, policies, and procedures related to driver licenses and motor vehicles.
- Knowledge of contract management and compliance principles.
- Skilled in the use of Excel, Word, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat, Visio and other process documentation tools.
- Skilled in planning, problem solving, and reporting.
- Skilled and experienced in managing and prioritizing multiple projects and task simultaneously.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to facilitate medium to large groups of people at various organizational levels for the purposes of planning, problem solving, or issue resolution.
- Ability to organize data in a logical format for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials.
- Ability to establish and maintain a collaborative mindset within the team.
- Ability to analyze/anticipate risk and make recommendation and implement solutions to mitigate risks.
- Ability to understand and apply applicable laws and procedures to operational and contractual activities.

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants who have professional work experience:
- Certified Project Manager or willing to obtain the certification within the first 6 months.
- Analyzing and evaluating administering compliance reviews.
- Analyzing business processes and recommending business process improvements.
Job Related Requirement
Normal working hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm.
