The Work You Will Do:
Communications & Marketing Coordinator - Office of Tolls Operations
This position will contribute to the success of the agency by providing graphic design support for various projects, working with the communications and marketing team, creating content for social media, websites, newsletter, press releases and other communication platforms.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
Provide graphic design support for various projects, creating visuals for presentations, reports, social media, websites, and other communication channels. Work with the communications and marketing team to develop eye-catching and effective visuals that enhance the overall message. Assist in the development and branding of campaign support materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, and digital assets. Coordinate with external vendors, such as graphic designers and printers, to ensure high-quality production of materials. Assist in creating content and serve as the backup for the social media coordinator to scheduling posts and monitoring engagement. Collaborate with the team to develop social media campaigns and track their performance. Assist in the creation of event materials and coordinate logistics as needed.
Work closely with the Communications and Marketing Managers and other team members to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines. Provide support for community engagement activities, public meetings, workshops, and events.
Contribute to the development of content for websites, newsletters, press releases, and other communication platforms. Ensure content is engaging, informative, and aligned with the organization’s messaging strategy.
Assist in providing support to the department by reviewing invoices, purchases in a timely manner and ensuring all items are paid for on time. Assist in initiating and completing any travel requests for department team members. Provide assistance in inventory control of promotional products and office equipment. Assist team by answering phones and taking calls from the public.
The Successful Candidate will have the following required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
- Florida’s transportation infrastructure and SunPass system
- Basic HTML and WordPress
Skills in:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Content management systems and social media platforms
- Creative thinking and strong visual design
- Proofreading, editing and preparing documents for publishing and distribution
- Written and verbal communication
- Graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and social media management tools.
Ability to:
- Work independently and meet deadlines.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
