AVIONICS ELECTROMECHANICAL ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN (FALCON) – MULTIPLE SHIFTS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mechanical / electrical assembly of circuit cards into product chassis
- Build and test small electrical sub-assemblies
- Build and test optical equipment
- Build and test battery assemblies
- Runs functional testing on units
- Harnesses routing onto avionics assemblies
- Read, interpret, and work from drawings and controlled documentation and processes
- Record work performed using shop floor management system (ERP)
- Perform verification of flight hardware, and document results in a clear, precise, and complete manner
- Assist with the development of production processes for first-time production runs
- Assist with area efficiency improvement projects
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2+ years of professional experience using mechanical and/or electronics hand tools
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associate degree
- Experience building electromechanical components
- Experience preferred in fast-paced production environment with flight hardware
- Able to adapt to constant changing work assignments and fast paced work environment
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills
- Excellent concentration and attention to detail with outstanding work efficiency and accuracy
- Experience with harness routing and integration
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work the following shifts:
- Monday to Friday, 3:00PM – 1:30AM
- Thursday to Sunday, 3:00AM – 3:00PM
- Thursday to Sunday, 3:00PM – 3:00AM
- Must be willing to work overtime, and/or weekends as needed
- Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching are generally required to perform the functions of this position
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to distinguish colors
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay range:
Level 1: $22.00 - $24.50/hour
Level 2: $24.00 - $29.00/hour
Level 3: $27.50 - $35.00/hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
