Position Overview and Responsibilities
This position primarily provides Info Hub Support on the Knowledge Management and Program Training Team, in the Office of Florida Health Care Connections (FX) in the Agency for Health Care Administration and reports directly to the Knowledge Management and Program Training Lead. FX is tasked with the modernization of the AHCA MES (Medicaid Enterprise Systems), driving a transformation of people, business processes, and technology. This position, and its Unit, are instrumental in coordinating and aligning business and technology in this transformation.
Assist the Knowledge Management and Program Training Lead in the execution of team results through meetings with vendors, contractors and Agency staff, including support provided in regular meetings to identify problems and shortfalls and proposes solutions; facilitating the gathering of people for action to lead and complete a project and/or solutions;
Ensure compliance of Program and Team objectives, gaining and ensuring understanding of business and contract requirements, assisting module vendors in elaborating all testable requirements to meet the business need; validating testable requirements are thoroughly elaborated, working with SMEs and vendors to document accurately; ensuring that products, applications, and systems are in compliance with established quality standards, and meet customer requirements. Examples of the work involved are below.
Document Review & Identification of Improvement Opportunities
- Review system user guides/manuals/procedures, identifies knowledge gaps and builds missing content like Job Aids, Quick reference Guides, FAQs as needed to support successful go lives and operations.
- Review Medicaid policies and procedures, identifies knowledge gaps and builds missing content like Job Aids, Quick reference Guides, FAQs as needed to support successful go lives and operations.
- Review Module Vendor release notes and translate in Release note knowledge article.
- Review module vendor deliverables and participate in readiness planning. Identify knowledge gaps and build supplemental articles to fulfill program needs.
Development & Promotion of Knowledge Repository
- Build and maintain Frequently Asked Questions in Knowledge Repository for FX applications.
- Promote FX Knowledge Repository Info Hub utilization and training sessions to AHCA Bureaus and FX Sister Agencies for increase month over month utilization.
Training Support
- Utilize knowledge of Florida Medicaid processes, policies, and culture to guide development and management of integrated knowledge articles and identify FX Knowledge gaps.
- Partner with Knowledge Champions on each Bureau’s learning needs, management culture, and learning styles.
Other FX Support
- Create written reports and presentations and fact-finding research as assigned, being able to adapt to multiple assignments, gather and present consumable and actionable operational recommendations.
- Contribute to the overall FX Program strategy through the performance and completion of other duties and special projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operations management software.
- Ability to develop knowledge base articles and maintain Knowledge Repository.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
- Preferred experience in health care sector or technological sector.
- Ability to navigate and participate in multiple daily meetings both virtually and in person.
- Ability to travel with or without accommodation.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least one year’s experience in electronic records management, information management technologies, data warehousing, business intelligence, or enterprise content management, working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.
Preferences
- Preference for moderate to extensive experience and abilities working with a Knowledge Base System or Knowledge Repository.
